Outside Yeah!

Joel and I played a little outside today. Enjoyed getting out of the house with a boy who is tired of being inside! Everything was ok until Joel was looking down running and didn't look up to see the tree branch at eye level. I must admit I was sad that he was hurt, but it was one of those "funniest home video" moments where I wish I had been recording. He quickly recovered but was finished playing soccer. He is growing so fast. He just looks so much older to me. Although I guess he is getting older. I'm just in denial.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year friends and family. Looking forward to the 2009 year, reflecting on all that has been and all that is to come. Last night we enjoyed getting to sit court side at the Thunder NBA game and by the way the Thunder won. Joel's favorite player, Desmond Mason, said hi to Joel and gave him wink as they were warming up. Here is a photo from the game. Happy New year.
