Merry Christmas

     Well I can't believe how long it's been since I've written....but well here is a few pictures of the sweet ones recently.   Praying you are enjoying this Christmas season.  I'm reminded today about the real gifts we all need this year.  Not the gifts that most of us are running around to get in these crazy days before the 25th.  But the gifts our soul needs...gifts of the Spirit.  Kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, love, joy patience, and self control.  And let's not forget forgiveness and compassion.  These are the things I know I need and want to give to those around me.  Thankful that God made all these  gifts available to us through his son who came as a tiny baby born in a manger.  May you give your family and friends the gifts they really need this Christmas.

It's been way too long. I don't even know if anyone still looks here because I've neglected writing and posting. But just in case I thought I would share a little.

Here are a few pics because I am not much of a writer. I read some blogs of friends who truly have a gift for writing and encouraging through words. This is not my gift. Thanks for all who do write and I so enjoy it. Maybe pictures will be the substitute for my lack of words. Smile and enjoy.

Finally an Update

Well it's been such a long time. Computer problems, photo problems, and just lack of will and time have left this blog empty. But finally today I did it. As you can see Joel and Abby are growing. Abby turned 2 in July and keeps us smiling. Joel started first grade, loves playing sports, and finally mastered riding his bike without training wheels. We are building a house...a long project still going. We added another member to our family.....Cocoa the kitty. She is actually pretty sweet considering she has to put up with a two year old. I am so thankful for fall. It's been a refreshing time after a long hot and difficult summer. Thankful for God's faithfulness along this journey of life.
